Are you a DropBox user?
Being one myself, I always wanted to be able to stream my mp3 files from the web. That’s something I would need when I’m at work (behind a firewall) or at my friend’s house.
Moozone offers a good solution for that: Simply plugin your DropBox account. All your mp3 files will be processed and you’ll be able to stream them in any browser, view mp3 tags, build playlists and much more.
Tip: DropBox gives you 2GB for free, so does Moozone. Simply register on both, plugin your DropBox into Moozone and you will have 2+2=4GB for free.
Interpol—Stella Was A Diver and She Was Always Down
go fuck yourself tumblr for not allowing me to upload the original of this because it is 11 mbs
and go fuck yourself internet for not allowing me to easily find the original mp3 version of it.
whatever.
For MP3s I would use http://moozone.com It gives 500 MB for free (with promocode FRANK you can get 1 GB) and lets you create playlists, share them and embed into tumblr (you’ll have to have “plain text/HTML” checked in preferences). The great thing about it is that you can edit your playlists anytime and it will be updated in blog right away, plus you can let people vote for songs they like and add comments.I would not recommend the following site as an online backup site though.
But if you need to share files FAST with your friends, FREE and want to upload with NO HASSLE, you could try the following sites.
For small files,
1. zshare.net - (up to 500 MB & unlimited downloads)
No registeration needed, able to embed videos/audios (for e most commonly used formats only), very easy. Rmb to email the deletion info to yourself if you still wanna have some control over the file you uploaded.2. Drop.io - (up to 100 MB)
A neat, clean site! No registration needed, able to embed videos/audios/photos. Protected from search engines.3. MediaFire.com - (up to 100 MB per file)
Unable to embed video/audio/pictures. Do not use this as backup if you ever intend to, server is not stable and may delete your files anytime.4. Senduit.com - (up to 100 MB)
Very simple. Go to the site, upload, select link expiry date and viola.
PROS: Click on the URL and your file starts downloading immediately!! No need to face another download page!5. Driveway.com
Haven tried this before but seems like a neat site. For big files, i recommend:
1. FileAi.com - Unlimited file size
Recipient to begin downloading the file as soon as you begin uploading it.
SO that means you don’t have to wait an hour for a large file to upload to the site’s servers before your friend or co-worker can start downloading it.2. EatLime.com - (100MB w/o registration, 1GB w registration)
Allow your friends to begin downloading the file as soon as you start uploading it.3. FileDropper.com - (Up to 5GB)
Great for emails:
1. uSend.io - (up to 100MB)
Upload, type in recipient’s email and they’ll get your link with 100MB limit.2. MailBigFile.com - (Up to 1 GB)
Similar to above but with bigger storage.
Keeps the file available for 7 days for up to 3 downloads.3. TransferBigFiles.com - (Up to 2GB)
So, what storage site do you use? be it uploading for a friend/blog.
All files that we are allowed to play for free are free — the rest of the files have 30 seconds samples.
You can try to find full track in Internet section of the website, but there is no guarantee that you’ll get the right file and the quality of the mp3s are usually pretty low. This is because Internet search looks through different public files scattered all over the web.
We are trying new approach towards payment for file storage. How about you pay once and storage space is yours forever? No monthly fees! No late charges! No worries that your music could disappear if you don’t pay!
For example you can use $4 that you usually spend for smoothie or other tasty stuff to buy 3 GB of space for life. I will only need to spend $25 once in order to accommodate my 20 GB music collection. Goodbye iTunes on every computer and hundreds of folders called “New_MP3s”. Now I can have access to my music archive from anywhere where internet is.
Right now you can try Moozone.com for free with complimentary 500 MB of space.
