so pitchfork started their list of the decade’s best albums already… guess couldn’t wait till january. they’re putting up some of the list each day this week, ending on friday with the top twenty. so here’s my prediction of what their top ten albums of the 00s will be, in order no less:
1. Radiohead - Kid A
2. Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
3. Arcade Fire - Funeral
4. TV on the Radio - Dear Science
5. Jay-Z - Blueprint
6. M.I.A. - Kala
7. LCD SoundSystem - Sound of Silver
8. WIlco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
9. Sonic Youth - Murray Street
10. Daft Punk - Discovery
(not saying these are my picks for best of the decade, but what i think pitchfork will pick)
